What do you wish to let go?

It is Wednesday again and the lovely Jamie Ridler has another Wishcasting prompt. This week she asks, "What do you wish to let go?" The answers to this question came pouring out of me so fast that my morning pages tripled in length. Here are the three common themes that emerged in my writing:

* I wish to let go of the barriers and walls that I have built around myself to prevent myself from getting hurt. For most of my life I was treated like a caged bird, unable to live beyond the cage. Now that I am free from the cage, I feel like I have constructed an imaginary cage that I keep myself locked in. I want to open the door of this cage and fly free.

* I wish to let go of negative relationships. I want to be able to walk away from relationship that cause me nothing but pain and hardship. I want to be able to put myself first and see that these negative relationships are causing a horrible trickle down effect on all other aspects of my life.

* I wish to let go of perfectionism and the image that I think I have to portray of myself. I want to show people the real me and not the me that I think people want to see.

What about you folks? What do you wish to let go of?

I see you! Yes, YOU!. I like her very much. Once you're able to identify the relationships that are negative and the reasons why you thought they were the very best you deserved, you'll find how quickly they dissolve!

As this bright spirit so rightly wishes for herself, and bravely too, I lovingly and with intention wish for her also!

As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too. Funny, this past year I created quite a few pieces of art with birds flying free from their cages. It's a wonderful image to imagine yourself free from any barriers!
